Relieve: los Pirineos, al norte; la depresión o llanura central, desde Lleida hasta Vic,y las Cordilleras Costero-Catalanas, separadas entre si por una depresión interior.

Ríos: el mas importante es el Ebro y sus afluentes

( Noguera Pallaresa, Noguera Ribagorzana y Segre),

el Ter y el Llobregat.

Clima y vegetación

Clima: Es mediterráneo de costa en el litoral y de interior en las zonas alejadas del mar.

Vegetación: Es variada: Bosques de coníferas y caducifolios; vegetación mediterránea y pinares

THE HISTORY OF CATALONIA

Catalonia was the fusion of some counties. In 713 catalonia was ocupied by the Arabs. When they were ousted, those counties fusioned, thus forming Catalonia.
