Secretario de Turismo atiende a comerciantes de la avenida Juárez

Palenque, Chiapas. El día de ayer, alrededor de las 14:00 horas, se llevó a cabo un recorrido por los locales comerciales que fueron beneficiados en la primera etapa de la obra de remodelación de la avenida Juárez, perteneciente a la localidad. Esto, como resul-tado de los acuerdos toma-dos en la reunión realizada el 5 del presente mes, en la que participaron Juan Car-los Cal y Mayor, Secretario de Turismo y Relaciones Internacionales, y el sector comercial.

El funcionario fue acom-pañado por el edil del muni-cipio, Alfredo Cruz Guzmán, el representante de los co-merciantes de dicha aveni-da, Humberto Constantino Huy, el presidente de Hote-les y Moteles de Palenque, Luis Estrada y el dirigente de la constructora encarga-da de la obra.

Durante una hora, aproximadamente, estas autoridades caminaron, vi-sitando uno a uno los esta-blecimiento comerciales. La finalidad fue inspeccionar algunos detalles que no fue-ron concluidos, por parte de la constructora, y dar so-lución a los inconvenientes que éstos causaban a los lo-catarios. La empresa cons-tructiva asumió su compro-miso de dar solución a los desperfectos señalados por los propietarios.

Todos los involucrados mostraron disposición por

actuar en conjunto para concluir al 100% esta obra. Además, asumieron el com-promiso para proseguir con la segunda etapa, que ten-drá una inversión aproxi-mada de 24 millones de pesos, con base en recursos federales, estatales y muni-cipales.

Los empresarios palen-canos se mostraron satis-fechos al observar que sus preocupaciones fueron atendidas, y agradecieron a la administración de Juan Sabines por poner los ojos en este municipio.

Se reúnen empresarios del sector turístico con funcionarios estatales

En su gira de trabajo por esta ciudad y la región de nuestra entidad, el Se-cretario de Turismo y Re-laciones Internacionales, Juan Carlos Caly Mayor; la Secretaria de Medio Am-biente y Vivienda, Lourdes López Moreno; el Diputado Federal, Juan Carlos López Fernández y el Presidente Municipal de Palenque, Alfredo Cruz Guzmán; sos-tuvieron una reunión con representantes del sector turístico y empresarial de Palenque.

Entre los objetivos de esta reunión destacaron los siguientes puntos, el anuncio de la segunda etapa de la remodelación de la avenida Juárez y el proyecto de crecimiento del aeropuerto con miras a ser de talla internacional y, de esta forma, beneficiar

la afluencia turística a la localidad.

En su intervención Caly Mayor destacó que Palen-que es un destino turístico reconocido como la puerta de entrada al mundo maya, y sin duda, para el actual gobierno, resulta un muni-cipio muy importante, ya que ha puesto sus esfuer-zos en coadyuvar al desa-rrollo de la región. Para lo cual, se han designado recursos del orden estatal y federal, para obras sin precedentes como el em-bellecimiento urbano del centro de la ciudad.

Los representantes del sector empresarial, expre-saron su agradecimiento al ejecutivo del estado, por apostarle con total com-promiso a esta ciudad, una de las más ricas en belle-zas naturales en el estado.

Otro pronunciamiento a nombre de los comercian-

tes de la avenida Juárez, fue el que señalo la exis-tencia de algunos desper-fectos en la primera etapa de la remodelación de la avenida Juárez, por parte de la constructora, por lo que solicitaron a los fun-cionarios, su apoyo para verificar que los detalles sean terminados.

La respuesta fue posi-tiva, Caly Mayor destacó que los errores y trabas de la primera etapa servi-rán, para que no suceda lo mismo en la segunda y las cosas se hagan muy bien, al tiempo que expresó su compromiso de estar pen-diente y trabajar en coor-dinación con las autori-dades municipales y los propios locatarios, con el único objetivo de realizar obras de infraestructura que sean beneficio a la co-munidad.

Choque en la avenida 5 de MayoBraulio Jiménez Corresponsal

Palenque, Chiapas. Alrededor de las 20:30 horas, de este martes 7 de Octubre, se registró un choque en la avenida 5 de Mayo, esquina con la calle Aldama, en la ciudad de Palenque. El percance ocurrió cuando un vehículo marca GOLF de color blanco, con placas de

circulación DMU 52-97, perteneciente al estado de Chiapas, se impactó contra un Tsuru color rojo, con placas de circulación DPH 93-13. Durante el incidente, también resultó dañada una camioneta que se encontraba estacionada en la avenida.

Al lugar de los hechos acudieron elementos de vialidad municipal, para dar fe de los hechos

ocurridos. Igualmente, oficiales de la policía de tránsito realizaron el peritaje para deslindar responsivas en cuanto a los daños materiales causados por el automóvil GOLF, conducido por su propietario, el Sr. Juan Antonio Huerta Montiel. El conductor fue trasladado a la delegación de tránsito de la localidad.
