- Elevación del colesterol es un pre-requisito para la formación de la placa de ateroma.
- Múltiples estudios apoyan que niveles de cLDL <70 mg/dL (<50 mg/dL), se asocian con disminución de episodios cardiovasculares y regresión aterosclerosis.
- No se ha identificado ningún grupo de sujetos que no se beneficie de la disminución de los niveles de cLDL.

Indicaciones de los Ac Anti-PCSK9
�HFHe
� EV ateroesclerótica (EVA) clínica (en prevención secundaria)
coronaria, cerebral o periférica.
- Tratamiento con estatina a la dosis máxima tolerada y otros
hipolipemiantes no alcancen objetivo (cLDL >100 mg/dL), una vez
descartada falta de adherencia al tratamiento y a las medidas
higiénico-dietéticas.
- Contraindicación o intolerancia a las estatinas y cLDL >100 mg/dL
