Dislipidemias
Definición
Conjunto de alteraciones metabólicas que se manifiestan por cambios en la
concentración de los lípidos plasmáticos, se asocian con riesgo, especialmente de
ateroesclerosis y enfermedad cardiovascular

• Nueva era de medicamentos como el sevelamer prometen buenos resultados aunque aún faltan ensayos clínicos con mayor número de pacientes

Datos importantes
□ En pacientes con ERC estadios 4-5 y LDL-C ³ 100 mg/dL, dado su elevado riesgo CV, debe considerarse el tratamiento para reducir los niveles a < 100 mg/dL
□ En pacientes con ERC estadios 4-5 y triglicéridos ³ 500 mg/dL que no se corrigen tratando la causa subyacente puede considerarse el tratamiento
□ La experiencia sobre la eficacia y seguridad de los ácidos grasos omega 3 en el tratamiento de la hipertrigliceridemia en pacientes con IRC grados 4-5 es escasa
