CajaTrujilloesunainstituciónfinancieradepropiedadmunicipalquenaciócon el propósito de facilitar el acceso al sistema financiero a aquellosemprendedores que empezaban a forjarse un futuro, habiendo logradoen estos 26 años de vida institucional constituirse en el principal soporte financieroparamilesdemicroempresariosexitosos.
Este rol social de laCaja Trujillo, se ha visto reforzado en el ejercicio delaño 2010, al desarrollar el sector de la microempresa, y lograr promover la inclusión social de familias de escasos recursos sin acceso al sistema financieroexigente.
LaconfianzainspiradoradelequipodelíderesprofesionalesdelaCajaTrujillo,noshapermitidoentregarserviciosfinancierosalamedidaparalosdiferentestiposdeclientes, facilitandonuestracontribuciónal desarrollo económicoregional y nacional; recibiendo elogios y distinciones de institucionesnacionales e internacionales por lograr casos exitosos de emprendimiento.
Siendo consistentes con nuestra propuesta “Crece con nosotros” y en consecuencia, de generar valor recíproco, el año 2010 presenta cifras de crecimiento relevantes, registrando un patrimonio de más de 214 millones de nuevos soles.
Finalmente, expreso mi compromiso de continuar con el rol social de Caja Trujillo, como es el de impulsar el desarrollo de los microempresarios del país.

Enestos26añosdetrabajoycompromisosocial,CajaTrujillovieneentregandoproductosyserviciosfinancierosparadistintossegmentosde lapoblación,beneficiandoamásde260milclientes.
Elaño2010hasidounperiododegrandeslogrosparanuestrainstitución.TodoslosqueformamospartedeCajaTrujillounimosesfuerzosparaseguircreciendo,yapoyandoeldesarrollodemilesdemicroempresariosdelpaísqueconfían en nosotros, cumpliendo de esta manera nuestra propuesta de valor de“CrececonNosotros”.Yconelrespaldodeunpatrimonioqueasciendeamás de 214 millones de nuevos soles.
Nuestroúnicogranobjetivodeserlamejorinstituciónmicrofinancieraágilyconfiableen lageneracióndevalorparanuestrosclientes,colaboradoresyaccionistas,sereflejaenlaconstantemejoradelosprocesos,quenoshanpermitidoofrecerygarantizarproductosyserviciosdecalidad.Comopartedelasinnovacionesrealizadaspodemosdestacarlaimplementacióndenuevosproductosyserviciosparanuestrosclientes,algunodeloscualesserealizaronen convenio con otras instituciones como la Cámara de Comercio de La Libertad,elBancodelaNación,entreotros.Duranteel2010ingresamosanuevosmercados,inaugurandoagenciasenSanJuandeMiraflores(Lima)yChimbote,sumandoasí49puntosdeatenciónenelpaís.Hemos implementado un moderno Data Center principal, acorde a estándares denivelmundial;einiciamoselproyectoEvoluciona,quenospermitiórenovarla infraestructura tecnológica, a través de diversas soluciones integrales. Así también, el relanzamientodenuestro sistemade recaudaciónnospermitióiniciar la mejora de nuestros ingresos por comisiones a nivel institucional.Nuestras acciones están dirigidas a la promoción y difusión del arte y la cultura; apoyo al deporte; conservación del medio ambiente y la salud, desarrolloturísticodelasregiones;inclusiónfinancieraylaculturaemprendedora.Todas las acciones comerciales fueron orientadas a cumplir el compromiso social que asumimos desde que iniciamos operaciones, el cual ha sidoreforzadoconlacreacióndelaoficinadeResponsabilidadSocialCorporativa,queseencargadepromoveryreforzarelcompromisosocialdelainstitución.Las acciones de nuestra institución no serían completas sin los logros de nuestrosclientes.Juntoaunadenuestrasemprendedorasclientes,obtuvimos–anivelnacional-elsegundolugarenlacategoríadeserviciosenlaquintaedicióndelPremioalaMicroempresaPREMIC2010;promovidoporCitibankdel Perú, Fundación Citi, Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo

Laliquidezenlaeconomía,alfinalizarel 2010, siguió mejorando en su tasa decrecimiento.Adiciembrecerróenmás de 240 mil millones de soles, con un crecimiento del 22.8% con respecto al mismo mes del año previo.Comovemos, la liquidezhasidoabundante,de talmaneraqueno se presentaron problemas definanciamiento.Estotambiénexplicaeldinamismodelosnegocios,yaqueelsistemafinancierotienesuficienteliquidezparaseguirprestando.

Tasas de Interés Referencial
Como bien se sabe, la tasa deinterés referencial es un instrumento de políticamonetaria que el BancoCentral de Reserva (BCR) usapara frenar el ritmo acelerado de la economía o incentivar la economía en una situación de desaceleración rápida, todo esto sin descuidar y con mirasacumplirconsuobjetivofinal
monetario con subidas gradualesde la tasa, que posteriormente fueacompañado de mayores encajes. Al cierre del 2010, la tasa de interés de referencia se ubicó en 3%,continuando su tendencia al alza,debidoalaspresionesinflacionariasproducto del fuerte dinamismo de la demanda interna.
La Inflación
En diciembre del 2010, la inflaciónfue 2.08%, prácticamente cerró dentro de la meta del BCR. Estoindica, pues, que la autoridadmonetariahizounbuentrabajoenelcontrol inflacionario.Logróguiar losprecios a su nivel meta de una forma muyestable,atravésdelaaplicaciónde una buena combinación deinstrumentos de política monetaria. Por otro lado, a fines del 2010 yase notaba que la inflación iría enaumento en el 2011, no solo por una mayor presión interna sino, básicamente, por una subida delos precios internacionales de los alimentos.

con respecto al endeble aumento alcanzado en el 2009 (0.9%).

Porotraparte,alcierredediciembre2010 la participación de los créditos por moneda estuvo en el orden del 91.09%enmonedanacional(nuevossoles)y8.91%enmonedaextranjera(dólares), siguiendo la tendencia defines del 2009. Cabe señalar quenuestra dolarización de créditos seredujodrásticamentealcabodelosdos últimos años.
Nuestra cartera crediticia llegó a 1,094 millones de soles a diciembre del2010.Estorepresentóun2%menosque lacarteraal2009,puestoqueelcrecimiento de las colocaciones durante el año 2010 se desarrolló dentro de uncontextodeestabilización,ajustesinstitucionalesyunambientedefuertecompetenciaaniveldetodoelsistemafinancieronacional.Caja Trujillo durante el 2010, continuó otorgando sus productos crediticios de ventaja, tales como:Rapidiario,Crediamigo,Creditaxi,CrediMujer,CréditoAutomático,Facilito,entreotros.Productosqueenañosanterioresapoyaronamilesdeclientesynosbrindarongrandessatisfaccionescomoinstituciónfinancieraquecanalizarecursoshacialosquemásnecesitan.

La morosidad institucional llegó a 6.56% al finalizar el 2010,ligeramente por debajo del nivelalcanzadoadiciembre2009;comoresultado de estrategias del negocio en lo referente a calidad de cartera.

Gestión de Servicios Informáticos
Se reestructuraron y optimizaronlos subprocesos de soporteinformático, despliegue informático y mantenimiento tecnológico. Se implementó un Sistema de Monitoreo y Gestión de enlaces de redes y comunicaciones, que tienecomo alcance la inclusión de todas las agencias que conforman lainstitución.Se implementó un Sistema de monitoreo de base de datos, quepermite tomar acciones de manera proactiva y preventiva para con los eventos e incidentes que sepresentan.Se culminó la implementación del Proyecto Mesa de Ayuda, el cual tienecomoobjetivoautomatizar losprocesos de atención a los usuarios, con niveles y estándares de atención que garanticen una eficiencia yeficaciaenelservicioprestado.
para asegurar la protección de las entidades frente a los riesgos financierosyoperativos.Asimismo,se ha realizado un mejoramientocontinuo a nivel informático del sistema de evaluación crediticia, integrando de manera progresiva y permanente en el tiempo sus procesos y controles.AniveldeBackOffice,lasprincipalesimplementaciones fueron los módulos de Cadena de Abastecimiento,Portal de Proveedores, Proceso de Gestión de Bienes Adjudicados,Control de Asistencia por Huella Dactilar, Módulo de Evaluación de desempeño y Gestión de Contratos.A nivel Contable y Financiero, lasprincipales implementaciones estuvieron enfocadas en el desarrollodelBalanceDiarioFase1,LibroselectrónicosdeContabilidad,Mesa de Dinero (SPOT, FondosMutuosyCDs),MódulodeCertificadode Depósitos e implementación de anexos y reportes de gestión tanto internos como para instituciones externas y organismos reguladores.
Gestión de Proyectos de Software
A nivel de Captaciones, se desarrollaron e implementaron nuevos productos y servicios, así como mejoras en controles de seguridad para transacciones de clientes. Asimismo, se incorporaron controles vinculados con la gestión y control de Lavado de Activos.A nivel de Servicios, las principales implementaciones incluyeron los módulos relacionados con Cámara deComercio de la Libertad, SOAT,Sedacaj, MicroSeguros, Rapidito y Equifax orientados a mejorar losingresos por comisiones a nivel institucional.A nivel de Colocaciones, se adecuó el sistema informático de acuerdo a los requerimientos regulatoriosindicados por la SBS medianteResolución 11356-2008, en la cual se plasman las recomendaciones emitidasenlosacuerdosdeBasileaII cuyo objetivo es establecer losrequerimientosdecapitalnecesarios,
LaTecnologíadeInformaciónenlainstituciónduranteelaño2010tuvoundesarrollosignificativoalhaberintegradodemaneraeficientelagestióndelamismasegúnunenfoquedeprocesos,basadoenestándaresquepermitengarantizarproductosyserviciosdecalidad,asícomoestarsustentadaentresimportantespilares:GestióndeProyectos,GestióndeServiciosInformáticosyGestióndeInfraestructuraTecnológica.Esteesquemaestablece3procesosmarcoparalaGestiónenelDepartamentodeTecnologíadeinformación:GestióndeProyectosdeSoftware,GestióndeInfraestructuraTecnológica y Gestión de Servicios Informáticos.Respectoalosprincipaleslogrosobtenidoscomopartedelasinergiadelos3procesosantesmencionados,sepuedenseñalarlosiguiente:

Gestión de Infraestructura Tecnológica
La Gestión de Infraestructura Tecnológica permitió implementar en Caja Trujillo un moderno Data Center principal, acorde a estándares de nivel mundial; de igual manera, se dio inicio a la implementación del proyecto Evoluciona, el mismo que incluyela renovación de la infraestructura tecnológica por medio de una Solución de Servidores, Sistemas de Almacenamiento, Respaldo y Restauración, Gestión, monitoreo, licencias y Servicios integrales de la solución. Por medio de la contratación de un Soporte Premier, se fortaleció la disponibilidad de serviciosinformáticos al reducir el tiempo para resolver incidentes relacionados con softwaredelaplataformaMicrosoft,así como reducir los costos y riesgos asociados a incidentes críticos de software.

Eneldesarrollodelaresponsabilidadsocial no pueden dejar de estar presentes nuestros colaboradores,quienes haciendo un alto a suslabores familiares se volcaron ademostrar sucariñoe identificacióncon aquellos que menos tienen, através de su participación en las Campañas Navideñas de visita a los diferentes asentamientos humanos,colegios y jardines tanto en la costa como e n la sierra y selva; así también de manera voluntarialos colaboradores y sus familiasparticiparon de una campaña interna a favor de los niños del Hogar Clínica San Juan de Dios, consistente en la donación económica y concluyó en unavisitadeloscolaboradoresdelasagencias de la ciudad de Lima.
Nuestro compromiso social nos motiva a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas menos favorecidas, contribuyendo al desarrollo delas comunidades en cada una de las jurisdicciones donde estamos presentes.Porloque,secontinuaroncon las actividades relacionadas al cumplimientodeestanoblecausa.En el 2010, Caja Trujillo se convirtió en la primera y única Caja Municipal en contar con una oficina deResponsabilidadSocialCorporativa,que se encargue de promover yreforzar el compromiso social de lainstitucióndesdeel trabajoconsuscolaboradores.Esta labor ha asentado las basesdeloqueseránuestroactuarcomoentidad socialmente responsable,y nuestras acciones estuvieron dirigidas a la promoción y difusión del arte y la cultura; apoyo al deporte; conservacióndelmedio ambiente yla salud, desarrollo turístico de las regiones;inclusiónfinancierayalacultura emprendedora.
Las entidades Microfinancierasse encuentran en un cambio einnovación permanente, lo cual demanda conseguir profesionales altamentecalificadosycompetitivos,adaptándose a los requerimientosde las empresas. bases para desarrollar una gestiónde riesgo operacional, seguridad de información y continuidad del negocio, que sea consistente conel apetito por riesgo de la entidad y que se sustente en un estrictocumplimiento de los requerimientosregulatorios y las mejores prácticas internacionales en la gestión de riesgos.
Caja Trujillo tiene como objetivo amediano plazo, postular al uso delMétodo Estándar Alternativo para ello viene realizando mejoras enla gestión operacional, contando con asesoría externa de prestigio. También,sevieneimplementandounsoftware que soporte la gestión deriesgo operacional en la entidad. La metodologíadefinidaporCajaTrujillopara la gestión del riesgo operacional se basa en los componentes delenfoque Coso ERM: Identificación,Evaluación y Tratamiento de Riesgos, Información y Comunicación, y Monitoreo de los mismos. Asimismo, se ha venido utilizandoherramientas para la gestión deriesgos operacionales, tales como:(1) Talleres de auto-evaluación deriesgos y controles, incursionando de un análisis cualitativo a un semi cuantitativo, (2) Evaluaciónex ante y ex post a la puesta en producción y/o en marcha denuevos productos y servicios, así como cambios significativos en elambiente operativo y/o informático,
cada deudor, así como controlar y monitorear el nivel de tolerancia al riesgo crediticio.
Como resultado de los análisis efectuados, se realizó unaidentificación y evaluación integralde riesgos crediticios, a partir del cual se proyecta para el año 2011, desarrollar medidas de tratamiento a fin de aceptar, mitigar, transferiro rechazar los riesgos crediticios alosqueestáexpuesta la institución.Asimismo, con el propósito de contribuir a la mejora de calidadde cartera de créditos se viene desarrollando un scoring interno de admisión a fin de contar con unaherramientademediciónexantedelaprobabilidaddeincumplimientodenuestrosdeudores;quecontribuiráauna apropiada toma de decisiones.
Riesgo Operacional
Caja Trujillo inicia la gestión del riesgo operacional en el año 2003, desarrollando proyectos para implementar una metodología para identificar,medirytratarestetipoderiesgo, centrada en la prevención de pérdidas económicas en las principales líneas de negocio de la entidad. En el año 2010 se iniciaron las adecuaciones a las últimas normativas emitidas por la SuperintendenciadeBanca,Segurosy AFP, con ello se logró sentar las
interna como de sistema informático; bases fundamentales para unaadecuada gestión de riesgos.
Asimismo, se desarrolló una metodología interna para la Administración del Riesgo de Sobreendeudamiento de la CarteraMinorista y del Riesgo CambiarioCrediticio para toda la cartera, con la finalidad de identificar a losdeudores a estos dos tipos de riesgos crediticios, antes y después del otorgamiento de créditos. Tambiénsepromovió laaprobaciónde un Nuevo Cuadro de Autonomía de Aprobación y el Manual deProcedimientos para Excepciones Crediticias, con el principal objetivode evaluar la exposición total de
Caja Trujillo, como en toda empresa, enfrenta permanentemente diferentes tipos de riesgos, entre los más relevantes son:Riesgocrediticio,riesgooperativo,riesgodemercado,riesgodeliquidez,riesgoestratégicoyriesgodereputación.LaUnidaddeRiesgoscomoenteencargadodeapoyaryasistiralasdemásáreasdelaempresa,afindepromoverunaadecuadagestiónderiesgosensusáreasderesponsabilidad,duranteel2010desarrollóunplandetrabajobasadoentrespilaresfundamentales:ActividadesdePrevención,mediantelaemisióndealertastempranas,reporteseinformesa las áreas pertinentes, opiniones de normas internas, operaciones y/o proyectos importantes; Actividades de Control, a través de recorridos de procesos, análisis de cartera de colocaciones e inversiones y visitas a agencias; y Actividades deApoyo,víacapacitacionesalpersonaldelasdiversasáreasynivelesjerárquicosdelainstitución.
Elaño2010sehacaracterizadoporelfortalecimientoenlaaplicacióneimplementacióndemetodologíasyherramientasdeidentificaciónymediciónderiesgos,talescomo:Análisisdecosechas,análisisdecascada,aplicacióndeestrésybacktesting,elaboracióndematricesderiesgosporagencias,etc.LaCMAC-TfuebeneficiadaporunProgramadeAsistencia Técnica Latinoamericano en Gestión Integral de Riesgos.
Lasperspectivasparaelaño2011,sebasanenadicionarenelPlandeTrabajounpilardegestiónorientadoa laCulturizaciónySensibilizacióndelaGestiónIntegraldeRiesgosatodoelpersonaldelainstitución.
Riesgo Crediticio
Uno de los principales riesgos que ha venido gestionando laCMAC-T, durante el año 2010 es el riesgo crediticio, donde se havenido emitiendo diferentes alertas tempranas, análisis de cartera de créditos, visitas in situ, capacitaciones masivas y de inducción entre otras actividades.Los principales logros obtenidosdurante el año 2010, es que laCMAC-T cumplió oportunamente con la implementación y adecuación de los parámetros y estándares establecidos por NAC Basilea II ysegún los lineamientosestablecidospor la Superintendencia de Bancay Seguros; a nivel de normatividad

la aplicación de la metodología y vela por una infraestructura adecuada que permita a las jefaturas denegocio y de apoyo gestionar los riesgos operacionales inherentes asus procesos y a los productos y servicios ofrecidos por el Caja Trujillo.
Riesgo de Mercado
Durante el año 2010, acorde con el proyecto de implementación de la mesa de dinero por parte del Departamento de Tesorería; la Unidad de Riesgos realizó mejorasen la metodología de gestión de riesgos de mercado, que abarca
diferentesáreasynivelesjerárquicosde la entidad, sobre la importanciade la gestión del riesgo operacional y los beneficios que implican suadecuada gestión.El Comité de Riesgo Operacional es un órgano especializado,conformado por las Gerencias de División de la Caja Trujillo y presidida por la Gerencia de Riesgos, toma conocimiento de las exposiciones al riesgo operacional, es responsablede la toma de decisiones para una adecuada gestión del riesgo operacional y reporta al Comité de Riesgos y este último al Directorio. El referido comité impulsa el desarrollo de una cultura de riesgos,
(3) Recolección de eventos depérdida:Herramientaparamedirloseventos de pérdida materializados,cuantificandolosmontosdepérdiday sus recuperos. En el año 2011, se tiene planificado implementar laherramienta tecnológica que nospermita recolectar los eventos de pérdida en forma automatizada,(4) Monitoreo y seguimiento de laimplementación de los planes de acción por parte de las gerencias división y jefaturas de negocio y de apoyo que permitan mitigar losriesgos operacionales identificados,de acuerdo a los cronogramas planteados y, (5) Capacitación yculturización al personal de las

los componentes de identificación,evaluación, tratamiento, control, reporte y monitoreo de los riesgos. Destacan el desarrollo de la metodología de medición del valor en riesgo del portafolio de inversiones; la realización deanálisis de peor escenario y análisis retrospectivo; los avances y mejoras en el establecimiento de límites deexposición y pérdida a riesgos de mercado;lostrabajosparafomentaruna adecuada segregación de funcionesdelpersonalqueparticipaen el proceso de inversiones y un adecuado soporte informático.
La exposición al riesgo cambiariodurante el año 2010, fluctuó entrenivelesmáximosdeposiciónglobalde sobreventa (activos en dólaresmenores a pasivos en dólares) de2.1% del patrimonio efectivo, y posición global de sobrecompra(activos en dólares mayores apasivos en dólares) de 3.3% delpatrimonio efectivo, niveles quese ubicaron dentro de los límitesinternos y legales establecidos.De igual manera, la tenencia de inversiones (fondos mutuos) nosuperó los límites internos y legales, llegando a registrarse posiciones cercanas al 25% del patrimonio efectivo de la institución. Respecto al riesgo de tasa de interés enlahojadebalance,alcierredelmesde diciembre 2010, los indicadoresde ganancias en riesgo y valor
patrimonialenriesgoseubicaronen0.4% y 4.5%, respectivamente, por debajodelosnivelespermitidos.
Riesgo de Liquidez
Laevaluacióndel riesgode liquidezdurante el año 2010, se realizó através de la medición de los ratios de liquidez,brechasde liquidezporplazosdevencimiento,simulacionesde escenarios de estrés y cálculo de ratios de concentración de depositantes y adeudos. Destaca el desarrollo de un escenario de estrés de liquidez específico yrecomendaciones para fortalecer el plandecontingenciadeliquidez.
Elpromediodelosratiosdeliquidezde corto plazo (activos líquidos/pasivosdecortoplazo),seubicóen36.2% en moneda nacional y 42.6% en moneda extranjera, cumpliéndose con los requerimientos mínimosde liquidez establecidos por elente supervisor (mayor a 8% enmoneda nacional y 20% en moneda extranjera).Encuantoalasbrechasdeliquidezpor plazos de vencimiento, enlíneas generales se contó con brechaspositivasamuycortoplazo,producto de los excedentes de liquidez, y brechas razonablementecalzadas en el resto de periodos.Asimismo, durante el año 2010, se logró disminuir los niveles de
concentración de principales depositantes y adeudos, reduciendo deestamaneraelriesgodeliquidezque pudiera enfrentar la instituciónante situaciones de crisis nacional o internacional.
Suficiencia Patrimonial
Al cierre del año 2010, los activos ponderados por riesgo de crédito, mercado y operacional sumaron S/. 1,335 millones, soportados por un patrimonio efectivo de S/. 229 millones. Con ello el ratio de capital global se ubicó en 17.2%, porencima del ratio de capital globalexigidoporlaSBSde10%.Cabemencionarqueduranteelaño2010se realizó lacapitalizacióndel100% de las utilidades del año 2009, lo cual contribuyó al fortalecimientopatrimonial de la CMAC-T.

LaCMAC-Tgestionasuexposiciónalosriesgosdemercado,monitoreandolaexposiciónportipodecambioyenformamuylimitadaelriesgodetasadeinterés,elriesgodetipodecambiodegestiónatravésdelValorenRiesgo(VaR)ydeloslímitesinternosdesobrecompraysobreventa,elriesgodetasadeinteréssemonitoreaatravésdeloslímitesde Ganancia en Riesgo y Valor Patrimonial en Riesgo. Asimismo, la CMAC-T mantiene como inversión posiciones en operaciones de reportes, fondos mutuos.

LaCMAC-Trealizasusoperacionesenmonedanacionalymonedaextranjera(US$dólaresdeEstadosUnidosdeAmérica),monitoreandodiariamenteelriesgodetipodecambioatravésdelaposiciónglobaldecambio,tambiénmedianteelseguimientodelasvariacionesdepreciodeldólar,conlafinalidaddereducirlosnivelesdeexposicióndelaposiciónglobaldecambio,quepodríaserdesobrecompraosobreventa,siendomonitoreadosatravésdeloslimitesinstitucionalesylegales.LaCMAC-TparagestionarelriesgodetipodecambioutilizacomoherramientametodológicaelValorenRiesgo(VaR),conlaqueestimalamáximapérdidaesperada,generadasporlasvolatilidadesquepuedenafectar de manera importante el valor de las posiciones en moneda extranjera.

ElobjetivoprincipaldelagestióndelriesgooperacionalenlaCMAC-Tesdisminuirlaspérdidasasociadasaprocesos,personas,tecnologíasdeinformaciónyeventosexternos.UtilizamoslametodologíaAustralianaAS/NZS4360:2004yCOSOII,proveeunaguíagenéricaparaelestablecimientoeimplementacióndelprocesodeadministraciónderiesgos,realizandolaidentificación,análisis,evaluación,tratamiento,comunicaciónymonitoreodelosriesgosasociadosconlasactividades,funcionesyprocesosdelainstitución,permitiéndonosminimizarpérdidasymaximizaroportunidades.Esteenfoquesehadesarrolladoutilizandodiagramasdeflujodelosprocesos,matricesderiesgos,matricesdeanálisiscualitativo y manual de control de riesgos efectuados a nivel de unidades de negocios y de apoyo.

Our credit portfolio reached 1.094 million soles on December 2010. Caja Trujillo has as short termpurpose, applying for the StandardAlternative Method; with this aim,it is making improvements in theoperational risk management,having an external and prestigiousadvisor; and implementing the useof software designed to supportthe operational risk managementof the entity. The methodologydesigned by Caja Trujillo, regardingthe operational risk managementisbasedon thecomponentsof theapproach for implementing CosoERM: Identification, Evaluation andRisks Treatment, Information andCommunication, and Monitoring.Likewise, instruments were usingfor the operational managementrisks, such as: (1) Self-evaluationworkshopsaboutrisksandcontrols,having a qualitative and a semiquantitativeanalysis(2)Exanteandexpostevaluationontheproductionand/orfornewproductsandservices,aswellas importantchanges intheoperational and/or computer, collectionoflossevents:Instrumentsto measure materialized lossevents, quantifying loss amountsand their recoveries. Caja Trujillo starts in 2003 themanagementoftheoperationalrisk,developing projects to implement a methodology for identifying,measuringanddealingwiththistypeof risk, focused on the economiclosses prevention in the main linesof the entity business. In 2010,adaptations to the last normsissued by the Superintendency ofBanking and Insurance and AFP(Peruvian Association of PensionFund Administrators) started, beingconsidered as thebasis todevelopan operational risk management;information security and businesscontinuity, being designed to theneedofriskbytheentityandhavingan strict fulfillment, regarding theregulatory requirements and thebest international practiceson risksmanagement.

As well as, the investmentspossession (mutual funds) got lessthan the internal and legal limits,having at the end positions near25% of the effective capital of theinstitution.Withregardtotheinterestrateriskinthebalancesheet,endedDecember2010,theindicatorsofriskearningsandcapitalriskvaluewere0.4%and4.5%, respectively, below requiredlevel.
Liquidity Risk
The liquidity risk evaluation in 2010wasmadethroughthemeasurementofliquidityratio,liquiditybreachesbymaturity dates, simulations of stress scenes and calculus of concentration ratio for depositors and debits.Notable is the development of thestresssceneofspecificliquidityandrecommendations to reinforce thecontingencyliquidityplan.Theaverageoftheshorttermliquidityratio(netassets/shorttermliabilities)
was 36.2% national currency and42,6% foreign currency, fulfillingthe minimum liquidity requirementsestablished by the supervisor entity(morethan8%nationalcurrencyand20%foreigncurrency)With respect to liquidity breachesbymaturitydates,therewereshort‐term positive breaches, as a resultof liquidity surpluses, and breachespresented in the rest of periods.Also, in 2010, the concentrationlevels of main depositors and debits, decreased, being reducedthe liquidity risk that the institutionhave to face in view of national orinternational crisis.
Capital Adequacy
Finishing2010,theassetsweightedby credit risk, both market andoperational were S/. 1,335 million,supported by an effective capitalofS/. 229million. This showed theglobal capital ratio 17.2%, over theglobalcapitalratiodemandedbytheSBSof10%.Itisimportanttomentionthatduring2010 the capitalization of 100%of earnings from 2009 was made,contributingthecapitalstrengtheningoftheCMAC-T.

The liquidity risk is defined as theCMAC-T inability to cover all its debts,which come from the withdrawal ofunexpectedfunds,theimpairmentintheloanportfolio,thebigliabilityconcentrationinaparticularsource,maturitydifferencesbetweenassetsandliabilities,thelackofassetliquidity,orthefinancingoflongtermassetswithshorttermliabilities.
TheCMAC-Tmanagesitsnetresourcestohonoritsliabilities,oncetheyexpireinnormalconditions.

Market risk
TheCMAC-Tmanagesitsexposuretomarketrisks,monitoringitbyexchangerate,beingverylimitedtotheinterestraterisk,theriskofexchangerateismanagedbytheVaR*andinternallimitsforoverpurchaseandoversell,theriskofinterestrateismonitoredthroughlimitsontheRiskGainandthePatrimonialValueatRisk.Likewise,theCMAC-Tmaintains as investment, positions in report operations, mutual funds.
Exchange Risk
TheCMAC-Tmakesitsoperationsinnationalandforeigncurrency(US$Americandollars)eachday,monitoringtheexchangeriskthroughtheexchangeglobalposition,alsomonitoringvariations inthedollarrate,reducingexposurelevelsoftheglobalexchangeposition,asthepurchaseortheoversell,beingmonitoredthroughinstitutionalandlegallimits.TheCMAC-TformanagingtheexchangeriskusestheValueatRisk(VaR)asamethodologicalinstrument,inviewofthebiggestlossmadebyvolatilities,whichmayaffectthevalueoftheforeigncurrencyposition.
Interest Rate Risk
TheCMAC-Tisfinancedthroughfundsearnedfromshorttermandlongtermliabilities,agreedbasicallytofixedinterestrates.At31DEC2010,theCMAC-Thassomedebtswithvariablerate,butthesearesmallamountsrelativetothetotalofdebtsanddeposits,therefore,theexpositiontothisriskisnotverysignificant.
Operational risk
ThemanagementoftheoperationalriskintheCMAC-Tisaimedtoreducelossesassociatedtoprocesses,people,information technologies and external events,we use theAustralianmethodologyAS/NZS4360:2004 andCOSO II that provide a generic guide for establishing and implementing the process of risks administration, making the identification;analysis;evaluation;treatment; communication andmonitoring of risks, associatedwith the activities,functionsandprocessesoftheinstitution,makinguspossibletoreducelossesandtoincreaseopportunities.Thisapproachhasbeendevelopedusingprocessesflowcharts,riskmatrices,matricesofqualitativeanalysisandriskcontrolmanualmadeforbusinessandsupportunits.
Risksassociatedwithinformationtechnologyaredulymanaged,reducingpossiblelossesarisenfromtheimproperuseofcomputingsystemsandrelatedtechnologiesthatmayaffectthedevelopmentofoperationsandservicesmadebytheCMAC-T,wehavetheInformationSecurityPlanwithitsrespectiveactionplan,whichmakeuspossibletoguaranteeintegrity,confidentialityandavailabilityoftheinformation;andtheBusinesscontinuityplanningwithitsrespectivetestplan,whichmakeuspossibletoimplementeffectiveanswers,sothatthecompany’sbusinessperformancecontinuesinareasonableway,inviewofeventsthatappearinterruptingordestabilizingtheoperations.
