Fish Life
Cycle
Food Chain
A food chain is how all living things get their food and how nutrients and energy are passed. Food chains star with a plant and end
with animals. It is a path of food energy from one living thing to another in an ecosystem.
Some animals eat plants, some animals eat other animals.
A simple food chain could start with an acorn, and then eaten by a squirrel!

Luz solar
siguiente cadena.
Producer
Producers are plants, or living things, that can make their own
food. They acquire energy from the sun light and then pass it on when
they are eaten by herbivores or omnivores.
Omnivore
An omnivore is an animal, a living thing, which eats both producers (plants) and other
animals.
Some omnivores will hunt and eat their food like carnivores, eating herbivores and other omnivores. Other omnivores are scavengers
and will eat dead matter.
Predator and prey
A prey is an animal that is hunted, caught and eaten by another
animal. The animal that hunts, catches and eats the prey is called
a predator.
Organismo
The Chicken Life Cycle
calientitos.
The Chicken Life Cycle
Approximately after 21 days a weak, wet chick breaks out of the egg. The little
chick will use its egg tooth to break the
shell open.
The chick breaks the shell around the outside.
Becomes dry and fluffy and out it goes into the
world!

Seeds
Roots
Seeds are the most important part of a plant. They come in many
different shapes, sizes and colors. They are little cases with baby
plants inside. The seed has more energy than other parts of the
plant and are packed with nutrition.
Roots are the helping part of the plant. They help anchor the plant
down into the ground. Roots allow the plant to stay in one location
and gather water and nutrients for the plant and store them for the
future. They grow under the ground and are usually the first stage of
the plant life cycle that you can see.
Hojas ¡Trabajando, trabajando, trabajando!
Flower The flower is the part of the plant that attracts bugs helping them
pollinate the flower. Once the flower has been pollinated it will begin
to produce seeds. It is these seeds that allow the plant life cycle to
continue once again!
Fill the blanks with the correct part of the plant.
Ciclo de vida de la planta
The Plant Life Cycle All plants start
with a seed. When the seed
gets enough light and water it will begin to grow.
It’ll start by sprouting roots. The roots grow
downward and stay in the soil.
y crecer!
The Plant Life Cycle Once filled with lots of leaves, the plant is ready to sprout its blossoms. The plant will start to grow flowers, fruits or
vegetables. These blossoms will have seeds that can be planted to make a new plant cycle!
A so it begins!

Frog Eggs
An embryo will form inside the egg. The embryo survives for the next 21
days by living off its internal yolk.
Frogs can lay up to 4,000 eggs at one time!
Renacuajo
Froglet
It takes about five weeks until the tadpole begins to change. These changes include
growing hind legs first, then forelegs. Their lungs start to grow and the tail becomes smaller. With time the tadpole shades its skin and starts looking more like a frog.
Rana
