Lessons learned from the project
Passive UHF RFID technology can be used to monitor postal processes, equipment and products: letters, parcels roll cages etcparcels, roll cages, etc. Results are good: 40 standard tags inside plastic trays inside a roll cage were read in an average of 98 -99%.Technology is mature enough to be implemented: antennas, readers, middleware, EPC all is ready under European standard.Same Protocol and language must be used in a global context.
19
Finally, encourage everybody to adopt this technology.
