Procedimiento de Ingreso a Planta de Molibdeno
1. Objetivo y Alcance
*
OBJETIVO
Normar el ingreso a todas las instalaciones de la Planta de Molibdeno (Zona Restringida).ALCANCE
A raz del ultimo accidente fatal que se present en la planta de Molibdeno, se revisaron los procedimientos que se aplicara a toda persona que requiera ingresar a la Planta de Molibdeno.
Diagnostico Situacional Actual
Actualmente las personas que ingresan a la planta de Molibdeno y segn los procedimientos:* Slo se ingresa con EPPs bsicos y no menciona con que tipo de respirador.* No existe alarmas que indiquen con la generacin del gas sulfuro de hidrogeno H2S (Gas letal sobre los 200 ppm) que estn por encima de los 10 ppm.* No es un rea restringida.* No se ingresa con detector de gases
Ubicacin de la Planta Concentradora
Las instalaciones del proceso estn diseadas para tratar un promedio de 108,000 t/d de mineral de sulfuro primario y producir concentrados de cobre y de molibdeno por separado. El diseo del proceso se basa en la tecnologa actual y en los tamaos de equipo ms grandes existentes y disponibles. Las instalaciones estn localizadas entre la mina Cerro Verde y la presa para relaves ubicada en la Quebrada Enlozada
*PROCESO PRODUCTIVO El objetivo de la Planta de Molibdenita, es flotar los sulfuros de molibdeno y deprimir los de cobre.
Existen varios reactivos depresores de sulfuros de cobre, tales como: Hidrosulfuro de Sodio (NaHS), Pentasulfuro de Fsforo (P2S5), Hipoclorito de Sodio (NaClO), Cianuro de Sodio (NaCN), etc. En SMCV se utiliza el NaSH.
Adicionalmente, se utiliza CO2 y N2. El dixido de carbono se adiciona para bajar el pH de la pulpa y con ello aumentar la velocidad de flotacin.El Nitrgeno se usa para disminuir la cantidad de adicin del NaHS, debido a que esta en presencia del oxigeno se oxida y requiere agregar mas.

El objetivo de la Planta de Molibdenita, es flotar los sulfuros de molibdeno y deprimir los de cobre.
El reactivo mas usado es el NaHS, considerando aspectos de seguridad y ambientales.

The following pulp samples will be subjected to laboratory kinetic flotation tests during an actual moly plant survey:
