THE TELL-TALE HEART

SUMMARY

This is the story of a man who lived with an old, whom he valued, but the old man had an eyelike a vulture, and the man was very angry every time the old man looked, this anger led mento take the decision to kill the old and so be rid of that look forever. He planned for a long timethe way in which assassinates the old man. Until one day entered the room of the old andlifted the mattress of the bed along with the old and threw him to the floor, thereby killing theold man. After killing the old man cut off his head, hands, legs, and lifted some floorboards of the room and hid the body quartered there. Minutes later, three police knock at the door thathad been called by a neighbor who heard a noise. The man was very normal, invited the policeto move to the old room and told them that this was out of town, sought four chairs, invitedthe police to take a seat and he put his chair on stage hiding q the old man's body. As theconversation progressed, the man began to hear faint sounds similar to a heartbeat; the manbegan to feel nervous, because this sound was becoming stronger and thought that the policealso listened, while the police just chatted pleasantly. The heartbeat desperate man, andended by telling the police that he had killed the old and hid the body beneath thefloorboards.
