History
The History o the Denomination o Origin Rias Baias begins in
1980 when collected in the BOE October 11 o the Specic
Designation Albario. For years later, on April 30, approing the
reglation o PGI Albario and its Reglating Board.
De to the need to adapt Spanish legislation to the Commnity,
the Department o Agricltre and Forestry Gandera, by a decree
o March 17, 1988, recognies the Designation o Origin Rias Baias,
and on Jly 4 pblished the Order approing Reglation o the
Designation o Origin Reglatory Concil and ratied in a
Ministerial Order o Jly 28 o that year.

The Denomination o Origin Rias Baias spans a nmber o areas oGalicia that hae a nmber o common physical conditions and
originate identiying the characteristics o their wines.
These lowlands with altitdes generally less than 300 m.
Near the sea and associated to the lower reaches o the riers, which
ormally determines the climatic characteristics o Atlantic inence
maniested in mild temperatres and high rainall and well spread,
alling water in the smmer months.

HistoryThe winery Adegas Arosa as the name sggests comes rom the amos
Ria de Arosa, ths doing honor to the geographical area and the nmber o
dishes that wold prodce this doing an ecellent match with or Albario
wine. S winery located in the heart o the alley o Salns, wine tradition
legendary land where Albario grapes are grown or oer 100 years.
In the 80s starting of the Rias Baias designation o origin and is crrently
recognied as one o the best white wines in the world.
In 1999 the winery was created as society initiatie o three yong
entrepreners winegrowers children rooted to the area, with Albario
ineyards that had been deeloped by hand, giing birth to an
elitist wine project.
Adeas Arousa
The CellarThe winery occpies an area o approimately 700 m2,
diided into a nmber o areas:
Gap pti aa: which has stemmer, charge pmp and pnematic
press. This area processes the grapes at harest, on the same day that this is
done in 20g boes and harested by hand.
Pssig aa: This area has stainless steel tans eqipped with cooling
jacets with capacity o 5,000 L each and connected to a cooling nit or
controlling ermentation sing a compteried process.

and tangential lter or ltration and micro ltration.
Bttig Z: Eqipped with llenadota, coring, labeler and taping e-
erything online and atomated.
