I wish to take the opportunity in this second issue of the magazine EL RIO to thank you for choosing travelling in Sturla Viajes’ premium motorboats. We have already started a communication journey that we will continue developing with contents rela-ting to this zone and its surroundings, which we should use in a responsible way. El RIO is such a noble means, that not only allows us to communicate but it also takes us to lots of beautiful places. At the shores of river Luján, in front of the mouth of river Tigre, lies, proud, the emblematic building of the most prestigious institution of argentine rowing. There, where the great Delta of the Parana River starts, in front of the monument to the rower, the Regatta Club La Marina is an icon of Tigre.Founded in the City of Buenos Aires on July 18th, 1876, the club has become, along the years, a benchmark of Argentine rowing and, at the same time, one of the yardsticks of world’s rowing, since it has won more than 1,700 yacht races.This construction is one of the attractions of the zone, framed by generous and picturesque gardens at the shores of the river. With its red and white flag fluttering high in the tower, crowning a jewel of architecture, the environment highlights its beauty and impeccable lines.

HISTORICAL MONUMENT

El edificio ha sido declarado recientemente por el municipio “Monumento Histórico Municipal”, por su valor histórico y arquitectónico. Mediante el Decreto 689/10, se lo considera “de Interés Municipal por su valor local tradicional”, en virtud de la Ordenanza 2987/08.El presidente de la Institución, Carlos Micelli, organizó una re-unión para dar la buena noticia. “Estamos más que contentos que el municipio de Tigre haya reconocido el valor que representa este edificio como puerta al Delta e ícono de la imagen de Tigre en el exterior”. Además, recordó que en 1936 la productora Metro Goldwyn Mayer filmó el Club de Regatas la Marina como uno de los atractivos de la Argentina.

The edifice has been recently declared by the City Hall as a “His-torical Municipal Building”, due to its historical and architectonic value. By Decree 689/10, it is considered “of municipal interest due to its local traditional value”, according to the Ordinance 2987/08.The president of the institution, Carlos Micelli, organized a meet-ing to spread the good news. “We are more than glad for the recognition by the City Hall of Tigre of the value represented by this building as a door to the Delta and icon of the image of Tigre abroad”. In addition, he remembered that in 1936 the production company Metro Goldwyn Mayer has filmed the Regatta Club la Marina as one of the attractions of Argentina.

En el acto, el Secretario de Promoción Comu-nitaria del Tigre, Daniel Gambino, expresó que para la gestión del Intendente Sergio Massa la protección del patrimonio cultural y deportivo es fundamental.El Club comenzó la construcción del edificio en el año 1909, en vísperas del Centenario. Se inauguró finalmente el 30 de octubre de 1927, con la presencia del entonces presidente Marcelo T. de Alvear.Diseñado por el arquitecto Bernardo Fontán, fue construido por la empresa alemana Siemens Bauunion.De estilo victoriano con detalles neoclásicos, sus grandes salones albergaron importantes eventos deportivos y sociales. Su emblemático remate neogótico se destaca como un hito del lugar.El edificio es hoy un destino obligado para que turistas extranjeros y miniturismo local, disfruten de esta verdadera postal de Tigre.

In this celebration, the Secretary of Com-munity Promotion of Tigre, Daniel Gambino, stated that the protection of the cultural and sports assets is very important to the Major Sergio Massa.The construction of the Club started in 1909, one year before the centenary. It was finally opened on October 30th, 1927, with the presence of the president at that time, Marcelo T. de Alvear.It was designed by the architect Bernardo Fontán and built by the German company Siemens Bauunion.Of Victorian style with neoclassic details, its large rooms hosted important sport and social events. The trip is completed with vans for the transportation of people to different points of the center of the city of Buenos Aires. The boats, with capacity for 44 people, has air conditioning, heating, Wi Fi, newspapers and buffet service on board to enjoy your trip to work and the trip to return home.

El destacádo fotógrafo Gabriel Giovanetti expuso en el Museo de Arte de Tigre la muestra titulada “Agua Dulce”, un recor-rido fotográfico por los ríos de la Cuenca del Plata, desde el Pantanal en Matto Grosso do Sul hasta el Río de la Plata. Conocedor del río, sus paisajes y sus secretos, el fotógrafo capta en su trabajo la visión del navegante y las distintas geografías de nuestra América profunda.Giovanetti no solamente observa la naturaleza, sino que se inspira en ella, logrando imágenes impactantes y sentidas. Claramente no se interesa por captar postales del río, sino trascender lo meramente descriptivo.Gabriel Giovanetti, nace en Buenos Aires en 1955. Realiza exposiciones en el país y en el exterior, y en 2003 su obra llega al Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Es autor de los libros “Luz de Oriente” y “Aguadulce: fotografías de la Cuenca del Plata”, de reciente aparición.El Museo de Arte de Tigre continúa difundiendo las obras de los artistas argentinos, posicionándose como uno de los más destacados museos del país.

AGUA DULCE

The distinguished photographer Gabriel Giovanetti presented in the Museum of Art of Tigre the exhibit called “Agua Dulce” (Fresh Water), a photographic journey through the rivers of the del Plata basin, from the Matto Grosso du Sul marshes until Río de la Plata. As an expert on the river, its landscapes and secrets, the photographer captures in his work the vision of the sailor and the different geographies of our deep America. Giovanetti not only observes nature but also inspires on it, obtaining shocking and heart-felt images. He is clearly not interested in capturing postcards of the river, but in transcending the mere description. Gabriel Giovanetti was born in Buenos Aires in 1955. He performed exhibits in our country and abroad and in 2003 his work arrived to the National Museum of Fine Arts. He is the author of the books “Luz de Oriente” and “Aguadulce: fotografías de la Cuenca del Plata”, recently published.The Museum of Art of Tigre continues exhibiting the works of Argentine artists, positioning as one of the most remarkable museums of the country.

Además de la música, la atracción pasaba por las carpas y stands con talleres de reciclaje, arquitectura sustentable, conferencias, green film festival, muestras de energía renovables y productos afines. En la carpa de la Editorial Vázquez Mazzini, la revista EL RIO fue la gran novedad y se distribuyó entre el público. Nos visitó Maine Cahiza (en la foto, posando con EL RIO), quien elogió el primer número de la revista, y nos invitó a participar del próximo EcoEncuentro Ecodrinks que ella organiza en Tigre (intercambios informales de ideas, proyectos, emprendimientos y productos verdes o sustentables).

In Costanera Sur, by the river, the first Ecologic Festival “Air, under the shadow of a tree” was performed.Organized by Sustentator –and organization engaged in sprea-ding the ecologic awareness, supporting the renewable energies and enabling the tools to facilitate the road towards a more sustainable future– the proposal was a success.

In addition to the music, the attractions were the tents and stands with recycling workshops, green film festival, exhibitions of renewable energies and related products. In Editorial Vázquez Mazzini’s tent, the magazine EL RIO was the great news. Cultural and ecologic promoters praised the first issue of the magazine. In the picture, with EL RIO, Maine Cahiza invited us to participate in the next EcoMeeting Ecodrinks she organizes in Tigre (informal exchange of ideas, projects, enterprises and green or sustainable products).

Los organizadores incitaban a concurrir en bicicleta, a utilizar el Ecobus, o a compartir los autos, para contaminar lo menos posible. Más de 10.000 personas participaron de este singular evento y disfrutaron de la original propuesta de Sustentator (www.sustentator.com). The organizers encouraged the people to attend by bike, using the Ecobus, or sharing the cars so as to contaminate the less as possible. This development is the most important set of buildings of the province of Neuquén, of more than 130,000 m2 of construc-tion (on 1 hectare of land), located in the most expensive zone of the city of Neuquén Capital, the gateway to the great valley of Patagonia. Its main characteristic consists in the development and operation of first-level buildings, with an strategy based mainly on obtaining the best locations of the city, offering designs of the latest technology and excellent services at the local, regional and international scale.PARQUE NORTE has implemented a planning system and a vision for its urban development, financial and legal, that is capable of overcoming the swings of the macroeconomic context, which consists of managing and administering funds and guaranties to avoid banks’ financing and parasite investments. The project is subject to a directing plan and condominium regulation for horizontal property as a juridical framework for the enterprise that incorporates the Building Code of the zone as urban product, so as to give to the place the Morphologic Feasibility. It was declared of Municipal and Provincial interest.THE PARQUE NORTE PROGRAM has a full programmatic infrastructure: Commercial Area, with a Plan for an open and closed shopping with urban response without antecedents in the zone, 12,000 roofed m2, more than 1000 m2 of ar-cade on the municipal line, it may be used during the whole year. Residential Areas. Other Areas of business units of the Project: Regional Center of Conventions and Exhibitions, Hotel, Offices, Sport, Recreational Areas and Gastronomy.GRUPO VISCA starts in this way the stage of SALE of lands It includes 8 plots of land of 700 m2, each of them with a potentiality of m2 for building an average of 12,000m2, achieving a relation of incidence of the value of land in the construction of U$S 94 per m2 and seek for investors, groups, trust companies, etc. that have successfully devel-oped and administered different branches of business, all of them with a line in common: the administration of either their own or third parties’ excess liquidity and savings, to unite for a joint development. This fact obliges us to focus on an structuring objective: Seeking diversified Investment opportunities within the same project PARQUE NORTE.
