INDIRECT SPEECH
*Introduction:
Direct Speech: John said: I like Maths
Indirect Speech: John said that he liked Maths.
adverbios-here- verbos-like-, etc) y los pronombres (posesivos-
i.e. John said: I want to park my car here
John said that he wanted to parkhis carthere.
i.e. John says: I want to park my car here
John says that he wants to parkhis car here
i.e. Peter said: I always park my car herePeter said that he always parks his car here
explain, complain, protest o point out.
i.e. Mary said she liked that dress.
Mary explained that she liked that dress.

invite, warn, order, command, instruct o ask.
i.e. He said: John, come here! He told John to come there
He said: Dont open the window He told me not to open the window.
REPORTING YES/NO QUESTIONS.
utilizar if o whether.
i.e. Peter said: are you English?
Peter asked if/whether I was English.
REPORTING WH-QUESTIONS.
* Wh-Questions: who, which, whose, where, why, when, how, how many,
etc-
i.e. Where did you parked the car? Peter said.Peter asked where I had parked the car.
palabras:
i.e. Who is parking my car? Peter asked me.
Peter asked me who was parking his car.
REPORTING REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS.

i.e. dont close the window, please Tom said
Tom asked me not to close the window.2. Peticiones educadas con preguntas:
i.e: Can you open the window, please? She said.
She asked me if I could open the window.
3. Sugerencias
Las sugerencias suelen hacerse con lets. Para pasarlas a estilo indirecto,
las introducimos con el verbo suggest:
i.e. Let`s take a taxi Susan said.
Susan suggested taking a taxi.
