PROLACTINOMAS:

La hipersecreción de Prolactina es la anomalía más común ocasionada por trastornos hipotalámico-hipofisiarios.

PROLACTINA:

Sintetizada en la hipófisis.

Su función: Estimulación de crecimiento mamario

Su vida media es de 10 minutos.

Su secreción mas acentuada durante el sueño y al ingerir alimentos

•Bromocriptina (2.5 miligramos-15miligramos[2 por dia])

•Cabergolina (0.5-3miligramos [1 o 2 veces por semana])

GALACTORREA

Este trastorno es la secreción espontanea de leche no relacionada inmediatamente con un embarazo.

Se relaciona con un producción séricas de la prolactina.

Historia menstrual

El diagnostico suele establecerse por TC con medio de contraste, o para mas exactitud se utiliza la resonancia magnetica.
