For purposes of this warranty the following definitions shall apply: (1) Fix(es) means an error correction or other update created to fix a previous software version that does not substantially conform to its Trimble specifications; (2) Minor Update occurs when enhancements are made to current features in a software program; and (3) Major Upgrade occurs when significant new features are added to software, or when a new product containing new features replaces the further development of a current product line. Instrucciones de instalacin del sistema WeedSeeker grande 9 Instalacin En esta seccin se describe cmo instalar el sistema WeedSeeker. Visin general del sistema Este sistema con controladores mltiples permite operar hasta cuatro controladores en lnea con 120 sensores desde un nico controlador principal en la cabina. Cables de alimentacin En la siguiente figura se muestran dos configuraciones. Deber suministrar potencia suficiente con un voltaje mnimo. Conecte pares de cables trenzados pesados a cada unidad desde la batera. Los largos de cable 400-1-029 son determinados segn los requerimientos de la instalacin. Para que el sistema pueda funcionar cuando conecte los controladores en lnea al divisor de seales, deber usar un cable para conectar una de las unidades al puerto "Principal". El sistema mostrado ha sido configurado para dos controladores en lnea que pueden operar hasta 60 sensores. Si lo desea, puede agregar otros dos controladores en lnea para operar hasta 120 sensores. Instrucciones de instalacin del sistema WeedSeeker grande 13 Opciones de configuracin Largos de cable Los cables que conectan el controlador principal al divisor de seales, y el divisor de seales a los controladores en lnea (400-1-028 y 400-1-029) estn disponibles en largos que varan entre 1'5 y 27'5 metros. Entradas opcionales Sensor de velocidad en tierra Al igual que ocurre con los controladores modelo 150; los controladores en lnea tienen una entrada AUX para recibir una o ms seales externas. Si se conecta un sensor de velocidad en tierra tal como un radar, el rango de velocidad de los sensores WeedSeeker se selecciona automticamente eliminando la necesidad de que el operador tenga que seleccionarla a mano. Es posible que la velocidad de los dos extremos del brazo de aplicacin sea diferente durante el giro del vehculo, lo que puede dar problemas en terrenos empinados. Interruptor Standby remoto En algunos sistemas grandes, se utiliza un interruptor de espera remoto para desactivar los sensores cuando se eleva el brazo de aplicacin. Se instala un interruptor en posicin cerrada (conocido como interruptor de elevacin) que se abre cuando se eleva el brazo. Este interruptor simplemente conecta una entrada al terreno. Si corresponde, pueden conectarse varios interruptores en serie para que cualquiera de ellos pueda poner en sistema en modo Standby. 14. 14 Instrucciones de instalacin del sistema WeedSeeker grande Sistema de primera generacin La siguiente figura muestra el sistema del controlador principal/lnea de primera generacin. En este sistema, el controlador principal tiene ms de un puerto de salida y no hay divisor de seales. Los largos de cable 400-1-029 son determinados segn los requerimientos de la instalacin. Al conectar los controladores en lnea al controlador principal, para que el sistema pueda funcionar debe conectarse por cable una de las unidades al puerto "Principal". Este sistema ha sido configurado para dos controladores en lnea que pueden operar hasta 60 sensores. Si lo desea, podr agregar un controlador en lnea adicional para operar hasta 90 sensores.
