General de Pilas se fundó en 1992 para establecer la distribución de GPBatteries en la península ibérica. Nuestro objetivo con GP Batteries ha sidosiempre conseguir una venta estructurada que respetara todos los nivelesde distribución por canal o nicho de producto, tanto en el segmento deconsumo como en el de industrial. A su vez, nuestro objetivo es la especializacióny profesionalidad en la venta de fuentes de energía que pueda satisfacerlas necesidades del mercado. Nuestra percepción después de estos años dedistribución y de esfuerzo es que hemos conseguido situarnos en Españay Portugal como una de las empresas líderes en la distribución de pilas ybaterías.
Nuestro conocimiento y experiencia en la distribución e importación nos haderivado a llegar a acuerdos de distribución con otros fabricantes de primeralínea para cubrir las tecnologías y productos que GP Batteries no dispone,y así completar nuestra gama. Estos fabricantes han sido Leoch (bateríasde plomo, cargadores, inversores y baterías de motocicleta), Haze (bateríasde plomo de alto rendimiento), Ultralife (litio primario y recargable) y Tadiran(Lithium Thyonil Chloride).
Por otro lado, las sinergias de venta entre las pilas y baterías y otros productostambién nos han llevado a alcanzar acuerdos de distribución con fabricantesde reconocido nombre para establecer la distribución de sus marcas. Estasmarcas y productos son:
• Q&Q. Marca de relojes del grupo Citizen.• Maxell. Accesorios y soportes de informática y multimedia.• H• Fitek. Soportes y accesorios para televisores y monitores.• Citizen. Todo tipo de calculadoras.

If we have a 24 Volt system with a load of 90 Watts and the required autonomy is 100 hours.
24 Volts = 12 cells (2V Per Cell)
90 Watts x 100 hrs = 9,000 Watt hours
9,000 / 12 Cells = 750 Watt hours / Cell
From the 100 hr column in the above table we have two options:
1) The HZY-SL12-200 gives 411 Watt Hr per cell to 1.8 vpc.The system would therefore require 2 batteries per string (in series) to give 24 Volts and 2 strings in parallel to give 822 Watt hrs. (2x411) Total batteries required = 4 x HZY-SL12-200.
2) The HZY-SL6-180 gives 382 Watt Hr per cell to 1.8 vpc.The system would therefore require 4 batteries per string (in series) to give 24 Volts and 2 strings in parallel to give 764 Watt hrs. (2x382) Total Batteries required = 8 x HZY-SL6-180.

Leoch batteries are constructed with lead calcium alloy and
absorbed glass mat technology to provide you with total
maintenance-free operation. No spills, no leaks, no water to
check. This design will provide you with the most powerful,
hightest amp hour capacity, longest cycle-life product on the
market. In addition,the fiberglass mat separators and high cell
compression extend battery life by delivering superior vibration
resistance from engine abuse or extreme road conditions.
In most cases, this battery was the original equipment battery
provided by your equipment manufacturer. The leoch
convent ional bat tery meets or exceeds the or ig ina l
specifications for starting and amp hour capacity. Heavy duty
glass mat separators resist vibration damage and through-the-
wall intercell connectors minimize internal resistance for
maximum power. Quick remove vent and transparent case will
make checking electrolyte levels easy.
