Violent Video Games - What’s up with all the controversy- Games get a lot of media attention and often make controversial/confronting material.

I think this means the medium is maturing and growing up. Much like Movies did and books before them.

- Video Games and violent media aren’t negatively affecting society, globally we have less crime and violence than ever before.

In Conclusion- Games that make controversial/confronting material mature the medium.

- Violent media isn’t affecting society negatively, if anything it can be a form of emotional release.

- Violence is consistently in basically all media, as it’s a primal part of the human experience that should be embraced in healthy ways.
