LatransiciónalaTDTeseldesafíotecnológicoactualmásimportantedelospaísesdelaregión,elcualsepresentacomounaoportunidadpara lograrun sistemademediosde comunicaciónmásdiverso y el incrementoen lapenetración de banda ancha móvil. El óptimo aprovechamiento del espectro radioeléctrico requiere tomardecisiones técnicas,económicasy sociales,a travésdepolíticaspúblicasacompañadasdeunadecuadomarconormativoparaimplementarlatransiciónalaTDTdesdeelactualentornoanalógico.Elloincluyelaadopcióndemedidasnecesariasparauniversalizaryasegurarelaccesodelosnuevosserviciosdigitalesatodalapoblación.
